can I buy this video or will it air again.
I thought the video portrayed the journey of Puerto Ricans and our struggles from and on the Island to New York and Chicago and other cities, our “Great migration.” Island Puerto Ricans are different from those who left the island. Of course, our origin is the island and we love the island and its people. We are proud to be Puerto Ricans but I am a New York Puerto Rican and my children are continental, ethnic Puerto Ricans. We claim our own history and struggle separte from those on the island and sometimes with them depending on whether we were among those that were part of the circular migrations. When and where can I purchase this video?
Where can I buy this video?
Give Rosie Perez another try: maybe she will do her research and get it right! The video should be called ” I’m New York ghetto”. The video had very little to do with being Puerto Rican and the people of Puerto Rico.
