ARTIST'S STATEMENT I have continued my spiritual journey through the study and practice of the healing power of energy, called "Chi" by the Chinese, "Prana" by the Buddhists and "Fluido" by Puerto Rican Spiritualists. My developing awareness and connectedness to the energy of life manifests in my art as a spiritual expression and affirmation. My encaustic paintings on linen and linen mounted on treated wood are about the flow of energy, the passing of energy through the body, mind and spirit which creates goose bumps and a sense of aliveness we all feel when we stop being too busy and focus our awareness. This energy flow guides and transforms my work. I embrace the experience and share its manifestation in my art with love and joy.
